Barbara Jean Howard, 80of Indianapolis (formerly of Greenville, MS), passed away May 22, 2019. She was welcomed to Glory by her parents, Joseph Saloane Sr. and Mary Alice Edmonds Saloane; her brothers, Willie “Red” Saloane, Odesda Saloane, Joseph Saloane Jr., Billy “Billy Red” Saloane, Johnny “Moot” Saloane; and sister, Ida B. Fisher.
Of the many fruits that Barbara Jean left behind to cherish her legacy, she leaves her children, Michael Saloane (Loretta), Carolyn Ann Washington (Roosevelt), Angela Marie Howard and Linda Faye Bledsoe (Dana), Flemon Howard (Renetta); sisters, Dorothy Crews (Jimmy), Mary Ann Smith and Isabella Saddler; brother, Melvin Saloane; special godson, Jack Morgan; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and friends.
