67, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away surrounded by her family on January 1, 2018. Barbara was born October 24, 1950 the daughter of the late Charles and Betty Hancock. She worked for the City of Indianapolis as an administrative assistant for 15 years, retiring in 2003. Barbara was a member of Cloverdale
Christian Church and the Cloverdale Huggy Bear Red Hat Association. She is survived by her sons; James, Charles, Jeffery and Robert (Amanda) Russell, sister; Donna (Mike) Price and Bobbie Skaggs, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband; George W. Russell, Jr., sister; Becky Harris and a brother; Danny Hancock. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 6, 1:00 pm in Family Funeral Care with visitation from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will follow at West Ridge Cemetery.
