Barbara A. Sparks

Barbara A. (Reidy) Sparks 80 of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday October 30, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was born on July 5, 1941 to the late Thomas and Frances Reidy (Lohman) of Beech Grove, Indiana.

Left to cherish Barbara's memory are her children Tom (Debbie) Sparks and Christine (Garth) Facker; sister Carol Baar; granddaughter Kathryn (Alex) Jones; grandsons Ian (Courtney) Wick; John (Ashley) Wick; Daniel Wick; three great grandchildren.

Barb retired from Eli Lilly (Audio/Visual Graphics Dept.) in 1992. After retirement she continued to keep busy by working at Lazarus/Macy's for 15 years, where she enjoyed taking advantage of employee discount pricing. She loved bragging about her deals.

Barb loved spending time with family, working in her yard, reading/sending entertaining emails, playing cards and enjoying lunches and get togethers with classmates from Beech Grove alumni and other close friends.

The family wishes to thank St. Francis Hospice for the care given to Barbara.

Visitation and funeral services will be at Little & Sons Funeral Home 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46237 Burial at Calvary Cemetery 435 Troy Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46225

Visitation will be held at Little and Sons Funeral Home (4901 E. Stop Eleven Rd., Indianapolis, IN. 46237) on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral Services will be on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1:00pm, with one hour of visitation prior to be start of the service. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
