

Barbara E. Willis was born July 17, 1965 in Knoxville, Tennessee and was the second child of Florence L. Willoughby and the late Marvin L. Willis, Sr.
While raised in Indianapolis, Indiana Barbara attended Washington High School where she participated in the Reserve Officer Training Corps. (ROTC). Barbara confessed her hope in Jesus Christ at an early age. Barbara was employed at the family’s business and in customer service for many years.
Barbara also affectionately known as the “Beaster” and “Beedie Bee” was a well-loved person who would do anything to get those around her to laugh. Barbara was nice, kind and full of life and loved her grandchildren and family. Barbara will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. Barbara departed this life on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the age of 53.
Barbara was proceeded in death by: grandson Zion Issac Willis, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Mills, brother David Eugene Willis and nephew Jermaine Montez Ridley.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memory: long-life partner James Murray; son Curtis Willis; Mother Florence L. Willoughby (George); brothers Marvin L. Willis (Erma); Edward Overton (Felica); sisters Janice Yvonne Daniel (LaVese); Rosie Lee Day (James, Jr.); Zina Willis; LaDonna Whitlow; grandchildren MiKietz Frazier, Ka’ Marra Willis, A’ Myia Willis, Kyire Murphy and Curtis Willis, Jr; cousins Barbara Wallace who Barbara was named after and Pam Graham (Ray) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
