Bennie Dwight Townsend, 55 died on Thursday, July 15, 2010. He had been employed as a Ticket Taker for Show Place Twelve Movie Theaters. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother; Clara T. Ray, sons; Misha-el Lennon and Marquis Townsend, daughter; Nicole Townsend, brothers; Walter Townsend and Larry Gale (Bonita), sisters; Janet Manning (Larry) and Glenda Townsend, nieces, other relatives, church family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11 am at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 9610 East 42nd Street. Visitation will begin at 9 am until the time of the service. Burial: Washington Park East Cemetery Arrangements: Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home.
