Bryleigh is preceded in death by her grandmother: Lafonda Massett.

Bryleigh is survived by her mother: Kendra Parsons, father: Mekel Carter, sisters: Mekiyah Carter, Zakyla Palmer, Naloni Carter, and Amyrah Carter, grandmothers: Janice Carter, and Becky Parsons, grandfather: Wilson Carter, Uncles: Jammal Cosby, Charles Sullivan, and Donavon Davis, aunt: Ashely Reynolds, great aunt: Amanda Maddox, and a host of cousins and friends.

BryBry loved her sisters as much as she loved to pick on them and make them mad. Though time with them was short, her bond with them will last a lifetime. She loved music, and loved to dance. Hip Hop and of course, Cocomelon were her favorites. She loved giving mommy and daddy thumbs up! Bryleigh wanted to be just like her daddy Mekel. Wherever Mekel went, Bryleigh was sure to follow. She loved her favorite blanket, and never went a night without it. Swimming and being in the water quickly became her favorite thing to do.

Bryleigh was a funny, outgoing, and sassy little girl. She loved being a big sister so much. One time she accidentally dropped Amyrah trying to pick her up, and blamed it on Kendra. Whenever Bryleigh saw Mekel was coming home, she was sure to meet him at the door with hugs, kisses, and laughter. She was always happy, and brought so much joy to our life. We are grateful for our time, though it will never be enough. Bryleigh will go on in our hearts forever, and be greatly missed.
