Carol Sue Sproles

Carol Sue (Susie) Sproles 86 Susie passed away May 4, 2021. She was born October 18, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late Fred Beckelheimer and Marian (Beckelheimer) Oliger. She is survived by her beloved son and caregiver Michael Sproles, sister Karen Meggenhofen, niece Julie Meggenhofen, nephews Jim Meggenhofen (JoAnne), Jack Beckelheimer Jr.(Roxanne), grandnephew Noah Garcia , sister-in-law Mary Beckelheimer, cousins Nicki, Gary, Lisa and Rod and her faithful, furry companion CC. She is predeceased by her parents and step father Charles Oliger, brother Jack Beckelheimer and nephew Fred Beckleheimer. Susie grew up in the small town of Patton Indiana, just outside Monticello. She graduated from Twin Lakes High School in Monticello then moved to the big city of Indianapolis to begin her career. She worked as a secretary for 30 years at Riley Children’s Hospital in the Child Psychology Department. Susie loved singing and had a beautiful voice, she loved flowers and working in her gardens. She did all kinds of needlework but was especially gifted at counted cross stitch. She will be remembered a loving daughter, a beloved mother, a great, big sister, a favorite aunt, and a crazy cousin. Memorial donations may be made to Michael J.
