Carolyn J. (Shauman) Robinson

Carolyn Jean (Shauman) Robinson was born on December 6th, 1940 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana to Charles E. Shauman and Lois (Jones) Shauman. She went to be with The Lord on December 5th, 2019.

She married James E. Robinson on August 23rd, 1958 at Central Avenue Methodist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was an attendee at Brightwood Methodist Church for many years.

Carolyn and James have six children: Julie K. Groves (preceded in death), Diana J. & Greg Martin, Michael E. Robinson, Jeffrey J. Robinson, Philip E. Robinson (preceded in death), Karen J. Robinson & Rex Rowell.

She retired from IMMI of Westfield, Indiana after many years of service.

Carolyn enjoyed sewing and traveling with her husband of 61 years. She appreciated leading an active lifestyle and was a member of The Kokomo YMCA. She loved spending time with her 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and including them in their travels; as she felt family was the most important thing in her life.

After many months of bravely fighting pancreatic cancer she passed away peacefully sleeping next to the love of her life. As a bright light in the world she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers and cards the family would like donations to be made to American Cancer Society and The Kokomo YMCA in Carolyn's name.
