Charles D. "Charlie" Key

Charles D. Key, age 83, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday September 29, 2022. Charles was born July 20, 1939, in Burkesville, Kentucky to his parents , George Thomas and Winnie Bernice (Roach) Key. He married Linda (Lugar) April 15, 1961. Charlie is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Elizabeth (Michael) Busuttil and two grandchildren, Alex and Madelyn. Charlie was a 1957 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He worked for National Tea Co. (Standard Grocery) for 27 years. Charlie and Linda have been in the retail business for many years which includes their daughter, Elizabeth. Charlie was recognized by Market Watch magazine in 2016. The family would like to commend and acknowledge the nursing and office staff of Franciscan Hospice and nursing staff of St. Francis. They provided exceptional care and their dedication and compassion towards Charlie is deeply appreciated. Charlie's legacy will be carried on in life by all that knew him.
