Charles Edsel Williams, 94, died April 17, 2022. He was born on August 8, 1927, to Emma Shaw Williams Cruse and Herbert Williams. He was a brother to six siblings, all preceding him in death. He was a father to Elaine Gillard, the late Mary Ross, and the late Charles “Chuckie” Ratcliffe Williams.
Charles was a loving husband for over 50 years to the late Norma Jean Williams and stepfather to Diane Ross. He worked for the U.S. Railroad and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. Charles was a great-great grandfather, uncle, and beloved friend.
