Christopher White Sr., age 58, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday February 6, 2020. Christopher was born January 14, 1962. Christopher White Sr., a God Man of great Wisdom operating with a Spirit of Excellence, Integrity, Respect, and Loyalty. A Wonderful Long Time Husband to Phyllis White, Fathered two Sons, Christopher II & Chancelor White. He also supported Step-sons and Step-daughters and was always ready to be a light to those in his presence. He became a Boy Scout Leader to many, Strong Protector and Faithful Provider of his family, Valuable Co-Worker and Mentor to the Young at Heart. Christopher White loved people and loved sharing his wisdom and understanding with others. By God's design, he was a gifted drummer who loved jazz and gospel music, gifted athlete, a quick learner with sharp eyes to see and comprehend, and teacher in many areas of life. Christopher White grew up in a home of 4 biological sisters, Verna, Phyllis, Patricia, & Cynthia White along with his biological mom, Mae and dad, Lester White. Although growing up as a youngster was challenging for him socially, he achieved greatness through his academic studies and became aware of the abilities God put in his hands. He achieved academic rewards, athletic recognition in track and field, and was very talented in Basketball as sharp shooter player who could score from any spot on the floor. He was very likable by his many friends and family members. As a young man in his elementary stage, he became very much aware that he was able to with stand electrical current and when he would touch electrical and mechanical components that were not functioning properly, he noticed that through his touch and small adjustments, these components would began to operate the way that they should. He saw that it was no problem for him to take gadgets apart and easily put them back together through a keen sense of just knowing how these gadgets operated because he was graced God to do so. As a Teen in High-School he studied Auto Mechanics and graduated with flying colors. Right out of High-school he was graced to work for Gigante Auto Repair Shop where he had many satisfied customers. He could take engines apart and put them back together. His ability to solve problems was astounding. Math was his specialty and comprehension was no problem. No mechanical or electrical problem was to big for him and he readily gave God all the Glory for his accomplishments stating "It's God in Me". As a young adult he studied and practiced Martial Arts as a hobby. He earned his Black Belt and won many competitions. He then began to train young men at his church self defense. Through Christopher's ability to learn whatever he set his heart to, he became a Jack of all trades. Throughout the history of his 58 years he did some building, plumbing, electrical work, mechanical work, technical work, etc. There was nothing to hard for him when it came to working with his hands. Raised in a local church,Christopher White surrendered his life to the Lord in His late teens and connected himself to the work of the local church in many facets. He was a long time usher, mentor, and teacher of morality and the word of God while attending Light of the World Christian Church. Even though he was not graced to minister from the pulpit, he ministered the love and wisdom of God where ever he was and made sure others knew they needed the Lord's help through out their life.
