Clara is survived by her husband; Jerry, daughters; Patricia Rusie, Marilyn Burris, Donna (Steve) Chasteen, and Kathy Burris, sons; Edward, Mark (Rhonda) and Gary Burris, sister; Barbara Taylor, brothers; Carl and John Dennis, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She is preceded in death by her first husband in 1989; Harold Burris, and sisters; Anna Crouch, Mary Miley and Jane Padgett.
A visitation for Clara will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Clara will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, 435 W Troy Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46225.
