David Thomas Leszcynski

David “Ski” Thomas Leszcynski, 64, died March 14, 2018. He was born August 16, 1953 in Indianapolis to Daniel and Nancy Tressler Leszcynski and worked as a real estate appraiser. David will be remembered as a loving mentor and loyal supporter of the entire recovering community. Ski lived an active life celebrating his love of the Indiana Pacers, The Cincinnati Reds, the month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, IU basketball, Hinkle fieldhouse and high school basketball, the Northside running and biking community, Broad Ripple, and friends of Bill. Ski is survived by his sister Dana (Jeffrey) Leszcynski Sills, brother Bobby (Beth) Leszcynski, nieces and nephews Bobby (Kristine), A.J. (Michael Lynn), Eric (Meghan), Laura, David (Michael) Katie, Bo, great nieces and nephews Caroline, Brandon, Kensey and Callaway. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 19 at 10 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday, March 18 from 3 – 7 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be distributed by his family to those recovery programs important to Ski. His family lovingly acknowledges and appreciates his huge network of friends and fans who have supported and accepted him with great affection.
