David Levi

David Levi, age 62, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday June 30, 2020. David was born January 17, 1958 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Wanda (Pruitt) Levi and Bobby Levi. He worked for several years at National Wines & Spirits and Ford Motor Company before retiring from the Ford Motor Company’s Lima, OH plant. He enjoyed racing, especially the Indy 500 and taking trips to the beach in Florida for races. David was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. David is survived by his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Poehler-Levi; daughter, Katie Poehler-Levi; son, Mark Gibson (Karin); brother, Darrell Levi; granddaughter, Alissa Gibson, and many nieces and nephews and too many close friends to mention. David was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Levi and Wanda (Pruitt) Levi. David was a proud graduate of Franklin Central High School, class of 1976, where he played football and wrestled for the Flashes. David was a volunteer youth football coach for many years. He was a member of the Pleasant View Masonic Lodge #134, the Scottish Rite, and the Murat Temple. Visitation for David will be held Monday, July 6, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 with a Masonic Service at 7:00 PM. Social distancing will be practiced and face masks required. The capacity is 50 guests, please be mindful if additional guests are waiting turn to visit. His funeral service will be Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Acton Cemetery.
