78, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Las Vegas, NV passed away December 22, 2018. Dave was born May 1, 1940 in La Porte, IN the son of the late Gerald Richard and Leona “Mefford” Starker. Dave was an Army veteran from 1960 thru 1963 and a member of the American Legion. Dave, after serving in the Army, attended Cumberland College from 1964-68 receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Science and History. He also enjoyed spending his summers at Lost Acres RV resort in Monticello, IN since 2009 and was a lifelong bowler. Dave was a great story teller and never knew a stranger. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Dave is survived by his children; Tricia Starker and Suzanne (Ed) Duncan, sisters; Lavonne Wilson and Sharon Adams, brother; Danny Starker and 2 grandchildren; Tyler and Ethan Duncan.
