He was a loving father to his 5 children and loving grandfather to 4 grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Shirley Mae (Doyle) Wendling in 2021.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Dr., Indianapolis, Indiana. A private burial will be held at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
