Doris "Dodie" Johns

Doris Ellen “Dodie” Johns, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018. She was 86. Dodie was born in Indianapolis to the late Harry and Mary (Yount) Warrenburg. She is also preceded in death by her husband Allen Johns, who she married in 1959, and a grandchild. She worked as a nurses’ aid at Methodist Hospital and Lane Bryant before retiring to care for and spend time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, mom, grandma, and granny.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Vickie) Johns and David Johns; daughters, Brenda (Charles) Bales and Kathy Teeters; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Judy and Dixie.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 12-2 pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop 11 Rd. Indianapolis, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
