

Dr. Albert Leslie Cabage, 86, passed away March 28. Albert was born in Chandler Indiana to Lester and Carrie Leslie Cabage. After serving in the US Army during WWII in Europe, Albert graduated from the University of Evansville and from the IU School of Dentistry. He married Claire Schepman and together they moved to Indianapolis, where he practiced dentistry for over 45 years. Albert loved working with the elderly, often donating his services to them and to needy children. He loved the Indianapolis 500 and was the track dentist for many years. Albert was a member of the Speedway Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shrine, American Legion, and VFW. He was active in local politics.
He is survived by his children; Carolyn (Ramon), Mike, Joe (Susan), and John (Beth), grandchildren: Jennifer, Christopher, Eric, Elyse, Colin, Matthew and his brother Lester Eugene. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Claire and sister Pauline.
Calling will be held from 10:00 - noon, Friday April 2, at the Crown Hill Funeral Home Chapel, services immediately following. Online condolences may be sent at www.crownhill.org.
