Ed is survived by his children, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Castner Jr. and Kelly Cravens; grandchildren, Jenna Ward, Jacob Castner, Jamie Castner, Samantha Castner, Stacy Heidelberger, John Allen Heidelberger, Travis Cravens, Cheyenne Cravens; and 4 great grandchildren, Jace Ward, Connor Ward, Caiden Cravens and Levi James Cravens.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Castner; and son, James "Gregg" Castner.
A visitation for Ed will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46219. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm. Ed will be laid to rest next to his wife, Patricia, at Oaklandon Cemetery, 7171 Oaklandon Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46236.
