He was a member of Mt Zion Freewill Baptist Church and Pastor at St. James Freewill Baptist Church in Danville, Ill. He is survived by his wife Angela D. Robinson Davis, daughters, Tiffany L., Alicia D., Rebekah C. and Jessica N. Davis, son, Peter S.L. Davis II, mother, Lois Ann Davis, father Kenny Sutton, Sr. (Evelyn) of Evansville, IN, sisters, Scherrie L. Sears, Linda A. Holbrook Richardson, Margaret J. Davis of Noblesville, IN, Tracey Sutton, 2 sister-in-laws, 2 brother-in-laws, two grandsons, Elijah Samuel Davis and David Davis. Memorial contributions can be made to Prayerline Ministries P.O. Box 199078, Indpls, IN 46219 Services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010, 11 A.M. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 2624 East 25th Street.
