Everett Wayne Gasaway

Everett Wayne Gasaway, age 83, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. Everett was born in Washington, DC to the late Forest and Mary (Tarvin) Gasaway. Everett was a Veteran of the United States Navy-Submariner and was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the U.S. Submarine Veterans, Hoosier Base. He was a longtime member of Allisonville Christian Church and a member of the Jubilee Masonic Lodge #762. Everett pastored a Southern Baptist Church in Whiteland, Indiana before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen; and his granddaughter, Tori.

Everett is survived by his wife Sharon Spaulding-Gasaway; his children, Tony Gasaway and his wife Debbie, Donnell Gasaway and step-children, Rachel Hardin and her husband Greg, Larry Hardin and his wife Auhsha; grandchildren, Caitlin and Patrick and Tone'; his great-grandchildren Demaris and John and JoJo.

A Celebration of Everett's life will be held 4:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Allisonville Christian Church, 7701 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. The family will receive guest from 2:00 p.m. until the service time at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Allisonville Christian Church. Everett will be buried in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
