Frances "Virginia" Mason

She attended Indianapolis Public Schools. The majority of her working years were spent at Western Electric and Chrysler Foundry.

Virginia came to know the Lord at an early age, attending a

few different churches along the way. Her last membership

was with First Free Will Baptist Church of Indianapolis, Inc.

She married Frank Mason on July 11, 1968. Within this union came 10 children, 24 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.

Virginia enjoyed reading, shopping, spending time with family and going to church.

Her loved ones that preceded her in death: her loving father and mother; children, Rodney Sr., Tambra Armor, Kenneth Sr., and Frank Jr; grandchildren Whitney Armor, Kenneth Jr., and James Wilson and great granddaughter De'Asia Elliott.

Those left to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 57 years, Frank Sr.; sons Charles (Michelle), Mike Mosley, Terry (Ericka); daughters Helen Bailey, Cheryl Bailey, and Karen; daughters-in-law Charlotte, Terri; brothers, Luther (Annie) Cox, Sr., William (Shirley) Cox; sister, Beverly Wellington; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at First Free Will Baptist Church, 2433 Barnes Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46208, on March 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00 pm.
