Fred David Nickels

Fred D. Nickels, 72, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020. Fred was born in Beckley, West Virginia the son of the late William Edward and Helen Joyce (Boggess) Nickels. He was a US Army Veteran and had been stationed in Germany. He was a member of Sertoma and loved cars, especially his yellow 2015 Chevy Camaro. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Johnny Nickels. Fred is survived by his wife Kim (Marendt) Nickels, his children, Tracy Nickels-Becraft, Tammy Nickels, Lynsey Mickle and her husband John and Billy Nickels and his wife Danyelle. He is also survived by his grandchildren and sisters, Pamela Ware, Debbie Nickels-Hoffman and Robin Hopkins. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Little and Sons Funeral Home-Indianapolis, 4901 East Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. Private Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home. Entombment will be Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in Washington Park East Cemetery and the public is invited to attend. Due to the current restrictions during the Covid Pandemic the funeral is private and mask must be worn and social distancing practiced both at the funeral home for visitation and the entombment at the cemetery.
