Gerald Lipka passed away in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 29, 2010 at the age of 70. He was born in Pittsville Wisconsin and retired from the Army after 20 years of service as a Lieutenant Colonel. He then spent 20 years with the Defense Finance and Accounting Center in Indianapolis. He is survived by his wife Jean, his daughter Robin, his son Matthew, his son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Amy and grandchildren Olivia and Sophia, sister-in-law Jane, nieces and nephews Samantha, Mike, Carlee, Brandon and Lucas and love of his life Missy Moo, the cat. Services will be held on Monday December 6, 2010 at Christians United Church at Soldiers' Memorial Chapel, 5626 Lawton Loop East Dr., Indianapolis, Indiana 46216. Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 P.M. with services immediately following. The interment will follow at the Crown Hill Cemetery, Field of Valor. Due to Jerry's love for animals, in lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be considered for the Humane Society in Indianapolis.
