

Glen Robert Jacobs, age 79, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025. Born on July 30, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Glen lived a life marked by kindness, integrity, and a deep commitment to his community. A proud alumnus of Indiana University, Glen earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business before going on to complete his Master’s in Business Administration at Butler University. He also served as a Lieutenant in the Navy.
He dedicated his professional life not only to his career in banking but also to uplifting those around him. Glen served as the treasurer of his church and participated as a community leader, volunteering his time with organizations like the Rotary Club and Meals on Wheels and also serving on several boards.
He is remembered as a loving husband to Valentia (Lennie) Meng, brother to Karl Jacobs (Barb), and father to his children, Eric Jacobs and Heather Wyant (Andy). Glen was also a grandfather to Garret Wyant (Haley) and Katie Wyant and was proud to have welcomed his great-granddaughter, Lyla Wyant.
Glen was a man of varied interests; he was an avid runner, league soccer player, and enjoyed many memorable moments coaching his children's sports. He cherished long walks in the park with his wife and found delight in feeding the birds at home.
A memorial service to honor Glen’s life will be held on January 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Gothic Chapel of Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Glen Robert Jacobs will be remembered for his gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to his family and community. May he rest in peace, forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
