January 26,1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Richard and Patricia (Gray) Sapp.
Greg was a big fan of the NFL Green Bay Packers and the Indianapolis Colts. He was an avid fan the
entire month of May for the Indianapolis 500.
Greg’s career in food and beverage spanned years at several Holiday Inns and various bars and
restaurants in Indianapolis.
Greg’s preceded in death by his parents, one brother Richard Sapp, Jr. and a sister Kimberly Sapp.
Greg is survived by his long time companion, Mary Ferraro and her daughter, Kellie Redmond and
Zachary Thornbury, Kellie’s son. Greg is survived by one sister Pamela Hanson (Thomas) and two
brothers Kevin Sapp and Scott Sapp and several nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and
nephews and several great- great nieces and nephews.
Greg’s Memorial Gathering will be Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana from 1PM -3PM.
Greg’s family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Good News Ministry, 2716 E
