96, of Indianapolis passed away on December 9, 2019. She was born July 20, 1923 in Indianapolis to Leo and Willna (Perkins) Heid. Helen was a longtime employee at Phillips Petroleum Company and retired from Bowes Sealfast Corporation in 1985. In addition, Helen was a longtime caregiver for her mother. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Helen is survived by her nephews, Larry (Susan) Lekens, Richard (Deborah) Lekens and Thomas (Joan) Lekens, 5 great-nephews and nieces and 9 great-great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister Frances Lekens. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 12 at 10 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with visitation starting at 9:00 am.
Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
