I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Gartrell. I have very few childhood memories that do not include the old Indy neighborhood with the Gartrell Family! I was saddened by the passing of Mrs. Betty Gartrell, Darryl and Chris, as well. Darryl taught me how to drive my first car with a stick shift! We laughed so hard that day! It is moments like these that I cherish when I think of old friends. May fond memories of love and friendship sustain your Family through these difficult times.
Keeping you in my Thoughts and Prayers,
Trish (Luttrell) Schott

I can still remember meeting Hugh & Sharon at a campground laundromat in Gulfport, Mississippi. That was over 25 years ago, we enjoyed many good meals together and enjoyed talking about gardening and playing the trumpet. Hugh always had a joke or story to tell, I still laugh remembering how he would complain about the wind messing up his hair! Hugh was definitely one-of-a-kind and he will be greatly missed. Hugh now has the honor of playing in that great band up in heaven.
Prayers and love to Sharon and family.
