Jack A. Russell, 86, passed away on October 18, 2016. He was born November 4, 1929, in Indianapolis, the son of George and Marie Russell. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He graduated from Butler University in 1958, and was employed as accountant for the U.S. Government. After retirement from the government he worked at the Indiana Members Credit Union. He was an avid golfer, and loved being near water. He made frequent vacation trips to Florida, the Bahamas, and other warm weather locations.
Jack was preceded in death by his long-time partner, Susan Baldwin, his daughters, Karen Russell and Sandra Bates, and his sisters, Eloise Kampovsky and Mildred Jones. He is survived by his brother, Robert Russell (Shirley), four grandchildren, Camille Lauer, Jennifer Faires, Nathaniel Bates and Zachary Bates, and several nieces and nephews.
