77, of Indianapolis, passed away November 21, 2014. He was born December 28, 1936 in Posey County to Jessie J. and Eloise (Amick) Rutledge. He was a new car sales dealer for an eastside Chevrolet dealership for 45 years. He was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge #17. He has a great passion for sports, especially, the Indianapolis Colts, Pacers and Indiana University. James is survived by his wife Irma Rutledge, son Todd Rutledge, granddaughter Megan Rutledge, brother Jerry (Susan) Rutledge of Mt Vernon, IN. He is preceded in death by his brothers John and Richard Rutledge. Funeral service will be Wednesday November 26 at 1 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary with visitation from 11 am until service time. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
