

Jane "Janie" Marie Kirkpatrick, 66, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 4, 1950 in Indianapolis to the late George and Sylvia (Luley) Luebke. She graduated from Bishop Chatard High School and Indiana University. She was a Registered Nurse and worked at Methodist Hospital before becoming a full time homemaker of her 3 boys. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed volunteering with the Red Cross, being involved with Cathedral High School events, golf, traveling the world, and keeping everyone up to date with the world’s weather and natural disaster events. With a vivacious and social spirit, Janie was the life of the party and will be missed by all. One of the many thing her family hopes for, is that Janie finds "TAB" in heaven.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kevin Kirkpatrick; 3 sons, Paul (Lisa), Peter (Jasmine), and Philip Kirkpatrick; 5 grandchildren, Kelyn, Klaire, Teresa, Thomas, and Ryan; and 4 sisters, Diane Marschke, Mary Anne Jaynes, Jeanne Cox, and Linda Collins. Her family will be forever grateful for the love and support they received from her family, friends, and caretakers.
Visitation will be 4-8 pm Tuesday, May 30 at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E 71st St, Indianapolis, IN 46220 and 10-11 am Wednesday, May 31, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5884 Crittenden Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46220. Her Mass of Christian burial will be 11 am Wednesday, May 31 at the church with entombment of her urn to follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis at a later date.
