

Born on November 19, 1961, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jeff was a vibrant, gregarious man whose outgoing spirit and love for people defined his life. He worked for many years in sales, where his natural charisma and gift of conversation made him a standout. Jeff never met a stranger—he had a way of making everyone feel like a friend.
A devoted father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, Jeff cherished time with his family. He is survived by his son, Ely Bailey, and Ely’s wife, Melissa Bailey; his daughter, April Bailey; and his beloved grandchildren, Robert “Chris” Bailey and Victoria “Gracie” Bailey. He is also survived by his brother, Joe Pollen, and Joe’s wife, Tammy Pollen; his nephew, David Pollen, and David’s wife, Shay Pollen; his Aunt Roberta and his cousins, Mike and Phil.
Jeff had a true zest for life. He was a passionate NFL fan and a proud supporter of the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed the excitement of casinos and horse racing and never passed up an opportunity for a good Chinese meal. He was also a huge fan of science fiction—especially Star Wars and Star Trek—and could dive into deep conversations about space, time, and galaxies far, far away.
A lifelong learner, Jeff had a particular fascination with history, especially World War II. He had an impressive knowledge of the political leaders, battles, and global events of the era, and loved sharing what he’d learned with others.
He will be remembered for his quick wit, big heart, sharp mind, and the joy he brought to every room. Jeff leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable stories.
