Jerrie Lee Gill

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Jerrie dedicated her life to the field of education, having served as a teacher at Indianapolis Public Schools for an impressive 38 years. She had a passion for teaching and made a positive impact on the lives of countless students throughout her career.

Jerrie was a graduate of Ladywood Schools and went on to earn her Masters from Indiana University and was part of the Delta Zeta Sorority.

She is survived by her loving son, David Gill, along with her grandsons Bryon Gill, Kevin Gill, and Brandon Gill. Jerrie was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

Jerrie was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gill and her sister Sandi Hanish.

Jerrie Lee Gill will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her students, her love for her family, and her commitment to lifelong learning. She will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
