Jesse was a lifelong residence of Indianapolis.Jesse was born in 1963 to Emma and Jesse Brooks. Jesse attended Elementary Schools 53,108, Harcourt, and Arlington High School. Jesse played football, basketball, and other various sports. He enjoyed cooking and worked as chef at Ponderosa Restaurant and Marriott Hotel. He also enjoyed working on cars. He had planned to attend Lincoln Tech for a career as a mechanic before he was struck down at the age of 22 years old due to domestic violence which left him as a quadriplegic.
The loving and gentle care of his mother Emma kept him well for 38 years. He fought a long hard battle and departed his life at the age of 59.
Jesse was an avid Colts & Pacers Fan. He self-taught himself how to operate a computer where he played various computer games daily and kept in touch with family and friends on FaceBook. He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Brooks and grandparents Earl & Elizabeth Pugh
and Jesse and Viola Brooks.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Emma Brooks, son Christopher Brooks, sisters Elizabeth (Steven) James, Jessica Bradley, brother Mark Brooks, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
