Jimmie L. Harrington Sr.

Jimmie attended public schools in the State of Georgia. He moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1953.

At an early age in life, Jimmie professed a hope in Christ and was a faithful member of Eastern Star Church.

Jimmie enlisted and served his Country with the Armed Forces of The United States and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in April of 1961, he was a member of The American Legion.

Jimmie was employed at International Harvester for 44.5 years, he retired in 1999. He was also employed at General Hospital.

Jimmie was united in Holy Matrimony in 1951 with our dear precious, loving Mother Luevenia Fenn and to that union, they were blessed with 13 beautiful children, this union lasted for 28 years.

Mr. Jimmie Lee Harrington Sr., departed this life on Friday, August 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, children; Napoleon and Robert Harrington, siblings; Alfred, Eddie Mae, Willie Frank Sr., and Freddie Harrington.

Jimmie leaves to cherish his memories forever, his children; Jimmie Harrington Jr., Lorenzo Harrington Sr., Kevin (Arlene) Harrington Sr., Carolyn (Morris) Shelton, Ronnie (Nicole) Harrington Sr., Gary Harrington Sr., Larry (Latonya) Harrington Sr., Anita (Steve) Sutton, Danita (Gene) Bell, Tawanna Harrington, Trejina Harrington, aunt, Lucinda Raye, sisters; Rosetta Chaneller, Lillie Martha Brown, Rashda (Kareem) Ali, Ruby Ross, Sarah (David) Paige, Vivian (Willie) Williamson and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, neph-ews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
