81, passed peacefully into final rest at her home in Washington, DC on October 3, 2015. Joan is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Lloyd F. Jordan. Her brother-in-law William G. Jennings, and many loving nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her father Thomas Aloysius McMahon, mother Catherine Cecile Horan McMahon and sister Diane Margaret McMahon Jennings. A graduate of Purdue University and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Joan worked at the CIA and National Science Foundation. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Thomas Apostle Catholic Church in Washington DC. Graveside ceremony will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lafayette IN on Tuesday, October 13 at 2 p.m. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary.
