John Roy Britt

John Roy Britt, age 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. John was born July 8, 1947 in Columbus, Georgia. After high school, he served in the United States Army. John owned his own landscaping business for more than 38 years. He loved spending his free time shooting pool. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his daughter, Amber Harris; grandchildren, Zyona Harris, Aurie Harris and Estevaun Harris; and brother, Ward Britt. John was preceded in death by his father, Roy W. Britt.

A private family moment will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219.

John will be laid to rest in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250.
