Joyce had been an Administrative Assistant in the Oncology Department at St. Vincent Hospital and was a member of Mt. Zion Apostolic Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, children: Brianna Chine' Rodnise Williams and Erin Jena Lanise Hall, father, Dr. B. Everett Blackmon, siblings: Fredrick L. Blackmon, Everett Blackmon, Jeff Blackmon, Corey King, Dr. Jacqueline McFarland, Patricia Rivers, Yulinda Blackmon, Maynona Blackmon and LaVonda Eason; adoring grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Joyce's visitation will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2013, 10am - 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration starting at 12pm at Mt. Zion Apostolic Church. Burial will follow immediately at Sutherland Park Cemetery.
