Ms. Karen Kay Garrett age 60, of Indianapolis passed away on October 14, 2010. She worked for General Motors (Chevrolet Truck, and Bus) as an assembler in the plant, retiring with 27 years of service. She was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Her parents, four sisters, and four brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by one son; Thomas Garrett lll, one daughter; Tracey C. Garrett, three brothers; Robert, Kenneth, and Larry Washington,two sisters; Beverly Love, Karol Austin, and three grandchildren; Chloe' Garrett, Dazzmen Garrett, and Marcus Melton. Services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Womack C.M.E. Church at noon. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of service at the church. Burial in Floral Park cemetery. arrangements entrusted to Williams and Bluitt Funeral home.
