He was self- employed as a painter. He was a member of the Painters Union. He also participated in C.C.E.F; a Senior Citizens Program of Goodwill Industries. He was also employed by Chrysler Corp, Canterbury Hotel and Brighthouse.
His father, Walter McNary Sr, mother, Dorothy Mack preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Kenneth S. Matthews Jr, daughters, Kimberly Y. McNary, Milissia A. Whiteside, Kenya S. Matthews, Keyonna R.McNary, brother, Walter McNary Jr, (Nola), sisters, Jacqueline Morgan, Sharon McNary, Joycelyn Butler, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, host of other relatives and friends.
His visitation will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2015, 10am-11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel.
