

Kyle was born in Indianapolis Indiana to mother Carol L (Kelley) Jones, and Father Ernest (Sonny) Adams. Kyle is survived by his wife Shavon Adams along with their children Kyle Adams Jr and Fiancé Chelsea Boggs with children Reagan, Brenna, Chassidy, Carter, Kyla, Drew, Zachary, and Braylen; Kimberly Adams and Fiancé Dane Wiegand with son Gannon; Deshae Fletcher; and Deshawn Springer. He grew up with his siblings Todd Kelley (Nytasha), Thomas B Johnson (Liz), Leroy Johnson(Madalena), Iris Mitchell, Fredrick Adams(LeeAnn), Eugene Benson, Gregory Woodson, and his only sister Donna (Kelley) Bottorff.
Kyle studied Labor Studies at IUPUI in 1999. During his studies he worked at Nabisco or what is now know as Conagra foods from 1993 to 2000 as a Union Steward. In October of 2000 he started at Eli Lily. He went from working in a Control Room to a Sr. Environmental Specialist. He was very passionate about the earth and participated in many projects around Indianapolis to keep it clean and Eco friendly.
In 2009 he met the love of his life Shavon Adams. On August 29th 2015, they officially became one and got married. He loved being around family as Papaw Mater, mentoring youth as a deacon in the church, fishing, Duck dynasty, Larry the cable guy, and sports. Most of all he loved being a dependable husband, father, and brother to his family. Kyle had the biggest heart and loved every human wholeheartedly and always said “What’s important to you is important to me, lets make it happen”.
Funeral services for Kyle Sr. will be held on September 15, 2021. Viewing will be 10am to noon and services start immediately following at noon at The Rock of Faith Missionary Church, 10302 E. 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46235.
