Obituary of Lance Jose Moore
IN LOVING MEMORY OF LANCE JOSE MOORE Lance Jose Moore, the son of Travis Centell Smith Sr., and Damaris Salgado, was born, April 28, 2000, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lance attended College Park Elementary School, was a High School Graduate and also attended Ivy Tech. Lance was a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ, and worshiped at True Belief Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Lance loved using his imagination. He loved creating music, working on vehicles and fixing various things. Lances' hobbies included, music, basketball and watching movies. Lance was a true example of the African proverb quote, " It takes a village to raise a child". His village included, Dena, Gwendolyn, Ieshia, Brian, Chris, Donwuan, Kim, AJ, Erion, Brandon, Rio, Reece, Darius, and Kierra Renee all were special people whom made up this great and loving Tribe. Lance was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Willa Elkins and grandfather, Howard Smith Sr. Lance has left wonderful memories with his mother, Damaris Salgabo; his father, Travis C. Smith Sr.(Tiffany); his children, Promyce M. Moore and King Moore; siblings, Travis Smith Jr., Cenyae A. Smith, Adrian Taylor, Shayla Harris-Moore, Adrianne Moore, Ayanna Watson, Malachi Moore, and Micha Moore; grandparents, Theresa Walls (Floyd), Felicia Smith, Jose R. Salgado Jr.; great grandparents, Gloria Salgado, Pearline Lloyd, and Jose Salgado Sr., and a host of other special relatives and friends. " OUR FAMILY CHAIN IS BROKEN AND NOTHING SEEMS THE SAME BUT AS GOD CALL US ONE BY ONE, THE CHAIN WILL LINK AGAIN." Service for Lance will be held, 12:00 pm, Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Berean Bible Church, 5602 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana, with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm, all taken place at the Church.
