Lawrence Joseph Byrd, age 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Lawrence was born August 21, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of the late Notley Witt and Maria Tibercia Byrd.
Lawrence is survived by his children: Danny (Tomika) and Jeff (Kathy) Byrd, sister: Suzy Duncan, brothers: Jack (Connie) Edward (Lorraine) and Alvin Byrd, grandchildren: Billy, Brayden, Tailynn and Mackenzie and a great granddaughter: Ashlynn Rose. He is preceded in death by his wife: Donna Byrd and his cat: Miss Kitty Byrd.
A visitation for Lawrence will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Lawrence will be laid to rest in Zion Cemetery, Rushville, Indiana.
