Lea Whisler Colvin 61, passed away at his home in Indianapolis on December 27, 2010. He was born in Wabash, IN to the late Lea and Meri Colvin. Lea graduated from Indiana State and worked as an administrator for the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center for 30 yrs. Lea's interests and achievements include a green belt in karate, body building, running in 11 marathons and 10k runs, national president of the BCCA and was a board member of the Boy's and Girl's Club of Indianapolis. Lea is survived by his wife Mary Beth, his son Lea Bradley Colvin, two daughters; Alison Ann and Katherine Elizabeth Colvin, two step-sons; Andrew Joseph and Adam Michael Sertich, one grandson; Marcus Allen Colvin and his extended family of Hilltop Runners. Friends may call on Thurs. December 30, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church on Fri.
