He was preceded in death by his parents, Levoll and Alberta Harris Sr, sister, Nell Adams and brother Willie Charles Harris.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Faye, son, Walter, four granddaughters, Melita, Ladina, Nyla, Natalie, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, four brothers, Levoll (Bessie) Harris, James (Vera) Harris, John Harris and George Harris, four sisters, Bertha Lee Walker, Mae Lillian Speech, Thelma Jean (Bunyan) Johnson, Gloria Davis, one brother in law, William Smith, two sister in laws, Gracie Reynolds, Maria Coleman and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, the Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2014, 10am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. His burial will take place in Floral Park Cemetery.
