

Lillian was a retired beautician and devoted homemaker. She was a 1942 graduate of Spencer High in Albany, GA. Lillian completed college in Atlanta, GA.
Lillian's love of God was expressed by over 60 devoted years as a Jehovah's Witness.
Lillian was joined in marriage to Clem E. Johnson, Sr. on January 17, 1948. In this happy union they have five children.
Lillian was a very loving wife, mother and nana to her grandchildren. She had a big heart and gentle soul. She loved to make her own patterns and sew for her children. She enjoyed sharing her religious beliefs with others and reading the Book of Bible Stories to her grandchildren.
Lillian departed this life on July 5, 2010 at the age of eighty six years five months and twenty-nine days.
She was preceded in death by her devoted, loving husband Clem E. Johnson, Sr.; her seven siblings; and two grandchildren Chaise Johnson-Owens and Brittany Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Clem Edward Johnson, Jr. and Rudy Finley Johnson of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters DeGwendolyn Diane (Johnson) Boston (Arthur, Sr.) Dayton, Ohio; La Etta Maria (Johnson) Walker (John) and Wanda Anita (Johnson) Walker (Lawrence, Sr.) Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren. Survivors-in-law include: Grace Durham, Mary Durham, Mary Harris, Bennie Bostick, Claven (Jack) Johnson, James and Sadie Johnson, Richard and Mary Lou Johnson, daughter in-law Willetta and a host of relatives and friends.
The family would like to express their thanks for the loving care provided by Eagle Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center at 4102 Shore Drive. We would also like to extend a special thanks to all of our friends and family for their support.
