Louise Lois Rode

Louise, who strived daily to reflect God’s love, care, and compassion to all she met was called home on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She was born September 25, 1930 to Orville and Florence Tomlonson. She was a graduate of Valparaiso University. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Paul E. Rode and granddaughter, Angela Wixson. She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Bob) Knight, Ronald (Kathleen) Rode, Roxanne (Jim) Wixson, and Rebecca (Dave) Polson; grandchildren, Matthew (Jamie) Rode, Craig (Nikki) Wixson, Keith (Stacey) Wixson, and Kristin Rode; great grandson, Ethan Rode; and siblings, Barbara (Bob) Miller and Jerry (Pat) Tomlonson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church where she was a member. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46237. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, 6630 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46203, with additional visitation there from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
