She was a graduate of Indiana University, was a supervisor at Rolls Royce and was a member of Calvary Family Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Square Sykes, Sr and two brothers, Willie and Roy Sykes.
She leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Allie Sykes; siblings: Ollie, James, and Square Sykes, Jr. , Lovie Hood, Rosie Murry, Sarah Malone, Bernice King and Helen Sykes; significant other, Dennis Sumpter and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Her visitation will take place on Monday, November 17, 2017, 10am – 12pm, with service at 12pm at Calvary Family Church, 6600 E. 42nd Street. The entombment will immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
