Luz Amarilis Jimenez, age 76, of Avon, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Luz was born October 13, 1945 in Guatemala City, Guatemala the daughter of Mario Augusto Solorzano and Zoila De Solarzano. Luz is survived by her husband of 35 years: Pedro Jimenez, children: Armando (Karla) Morales and Otto Rene (Rebecca) Morales, grandchildren: Juan Luis Chang, Luis Rodrigo Chang, Ana Luisa Morales, Monica Morales and Andrea Morales and great grandchildren: Jean Carlos and Ezekiel Xayabout. A visitation for Luz will be held Friday, September 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 30, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. A graveside service will occur Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at West Newton Cemetery, 6701 Milton St, West Newton, Indiana 46183.
