Susi my name is Kevin Reckley and I did Mary's eyecare here in Indpls for years.  She and I became friends by my mother working at the RR and she brought physically (driving) many eastside [atients to my office. I grew up and lived on the eastside while my office migrated to the south side.  Phil Gallagher just stepped into the office and informed me of her passing.  She was always a pleasure to see and work with, very talkative as you know and one of my biggest supporters.  May she rest in peace, she will be missed. Both of my parents are deceased and I just hate to see the changing of the guard.

Susi -- I am so glad to find this site.  Can't believe a month has passed already.  Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and your mom.  I miss our chats, and her incredible wit.  You remain in my prayers.  May God continue to wrap His loving arms around you and give you comfort and peace.  Stay in touch!

Mary was my neighbor of 20 years and I still remember her sitting me down when I turned 18 and explaining to me the importance of voting and civil duty. I missed seeing her these past few years at our voting precinct, and I want to thank her for being so devoted to her community.

I grew up a few houses away from Mary in Indianapolis.  She was a wonderful person who always took the time to check on us and ask how we were doing. It was a pleasure to know her, and she will be remembered fondly.

Susi, Was Very Sorry To Hear About Mary. I Am Joan Patterson's Cousin. Your Mom Came To My House Alot For Cookouts And Would Join Us For Other Family Functions. We Loved Spending Time With Her. You Never Had To Guess What She Was Thinking. We Thought That Was Great. After Joan (We Called Her Joann) Passed We Sadly Lost Touch With Your Mother. She Will Be Missed By many! Thoughts And Prayers Are With You And Your Family.
